Alarm clock goes off, still dark, and you have less then 40 minutes to get ready and out the door for that 7:32am train. Don’t forget to take the dog out, get everything you need, and if you’re lucky make a cup of coffee. This is a typical morning for me (when I’m employed at least). Therefore, when I finally get on the train and find a seat surrounded by penguins (business men in identical suits) the last thing I want to do is read the morning newspaper.
I hate everything about the newspaper. It’s obnoxiously big and hard to maneuverer gracefully without making too much noise, the ink smudges all over, and when I finally concentrate on a story, I must turn to Page 5 to finish it, such a tease.
Well I have discovered a solution — theSkimm
Two women have created theSkimm, an online newsletter, which enables women… busy women who do not have the luxury of reading the paper. Hence, theSkimm will provide readers with just enough info allowing everyone to feel in the loop.
They read, we Skimm. Wala!
